what I dont understand is why, if they say, we are facing a population decline crisis, that we would allow unrestricted illegal immigration to keep our population from declining. Why not encourage us to have our own babies rather than abort them?

I think that’s called a dog whistle. Let’s not pretend a woman in this country can’t get an abortion if they want to. Personally, I support a woman’s right to choose if rapped, victim of any sexual assault or the mothers life is in danger. I can’t support two people that were lazy, especially in today’s world where it’s not hard to prevent pregnancy, and 4 months later kill a baby because they were irresponsible. How can people even have a discussion about abortion when certain people believe a man isn’t a man and woman isn’t a woman? You can’t talk to people who are all about science one minute, but spit in the face of science the next minute.

What stood out to me is that he could not say the word abortion. It's their big issue and he can't say the word.

If the govt wanted to stop illegal immigration they would. Truth is they can’t. The United States needs human capital and we aren’t getting manual labor from the poor because they’re better off not working. For those of us that are raising white collar workers, it cost so damn much that we’re having fewer kids. So we use H1b visas for more brain power, and we use an open southern border for manual labor. “Bring us your tired and hungry” was nothing more than a campaign for human capital. Our open southern border is much the same.
