Friend sent me pics of them... They were trying to bring awareness to foreigners entering the country that they were the good guys. They just sat there holding signs.
I’ll let you know in less than two weeks how it is when I fly in.... Hoping to be able to avoid the protesters while there and just enjoy the city.

I just requested that this thread be stickied, because this is a big deal. We all need to keep up with what's going on in Hong Kong.
Anybody who feels similarly might want to request a sticky for this thread, too, because I'm not exactly the Admins' favorite poster.
1) If Hong Kong residents could vote right now, I bet 90% of them would choose to return to British rule. I know this is 2019 and "Whitey be bad" and all, but Hong Kong was generally very happy living under British rule.
2) Dearest Chi-Coms: Kindly GFY!!!
