First, let me go on record as saying that I do NOT want us going to war with Venezuela. However, softening them up and landing troops wouldn't be that difficult. The U.S. military is exceptional at warfare, but we suck at actual occupations because we're not built for them militarily or politically.

Way to far for them to reach. The would honestly do better staying put and launching missiles because if they try to send troops via ships there's going to be a lot of dead communists.
