President Bill Clinton testified before a grand jury in the investigation by independent counsel Kenneth Starr—who later accused Clinton of providing “perjurious, false and misleading testimony,” leading to his impeachment by the Republican-led House of Representatives.

The best part about all of this, is no one can actually name a crime that's being investigated, only that they're looking for a crime to investigate. LOL.

1. Violation of FARA
2. Violation of Computer Fraud and Abuse act
3. Conspiracy to violate computer fraud and abuse
4. Violation of Federal election campaign Act

and many more...

This talking point of "what crime was even committed" is so old and lazy.

From my understanding, the only people that can "throw it out" (with respect to the President) are the house and Senate.

the indictment would have to be based upon alleged violation of federal law. Where does congress come into play? I think you may be confusing impeachment and criminal indictment.

this is a grand jury...

good god youre a fricking hack.
OK? Obviously a conviction is way worse, but from what we know, his legal issues stem from his involvement with Turkey, which was being investigated before his appointment and the Trump administration was made aware of it.

So do you honestly think it's not going to look bad if:

1. Flynn is criminally indicted.
2. It's related to the investigation that started prior to his appointment.
3. The administration knew of this investigation.
4. Trump appointed him anyways, and to a position in National Security at that.
5. Trump tried to stop the investigation after he was let go.

Like I said, you may not care, but it's ridiculous to argue that it won't be politically damaging.

yes you do. and you lap it up.
Well when I do watch, read, or listen to the MSM, they don't cover Flynn's involvement with Turkey AT ALL besides the few articles with the initial revelation. In fact, I don't understand why they focus on the phone call when the Turkey stuff is far more troubling.

So I can't rely on the MSM to formulate my opinion when they don't discuss the very thing I am using to formulate it.

It's just basic logic anyways.

.....and that is the problem. In a typical grand jury , at least on the state level, you have evidence of a crime like a dead body. Now all that is needed is to have someone to connect. Even in insider trading you have evidence of a crime like trackable suspicious trades and transactions.

I've said this before, this is a fishing expedition. They know the Russian involvement at it's core was not a determinant in the election.

That's not surprising. Our society has come to blindly assume that prosecutors have 100% certainty of guilt before prosecuting.

I don't think he is going to be removed. I would much prefer him to remain in power and his agenda go nowhere.

Like I said, this is an old talking point, it's easy to find what laws are being examined.

What has he done that is criminal? What evidence do you have that crime has been committed by Trump?

i have zero evidence. I am not an investigator nor a prosecutor.

trumpkins will ride the ship down, even if he committed a crime. You are already seeing - collusion is not a crime. Or so what if he colluded.

next we will see, well he broke that law but you know its not that big of a deal.

In Watergate, the prosecutor referred the recommendation to the Judiciary committee.

It hasn't been determined if a sitting president can be indicted... maybe that will be tested here

Federal conviction rate is pretty high.

Chances are if we get indictments, the prosecutors will be able to prove the case. Feds don't frick around.

Do you think his immigration policy would hurt your company? Or his tax reform?

The latter would probably help you significantly.

I did not vote for Trump or Clinton. I find all of this to be politically motivated bullshite.

I posted earlier how President Clinton got indicted for lying to a grand jury. Out of the entire Ken Star investigation they got him for perjury. It was bullshite then and it's bullshite now.

Yeah, I doubt he'd be removed almost no matter what he does.

The next likely event is that he resigns.

Or gets primaried before 2020.

ETA: Totally tongue in cheek. i don't give 2 shits about this really.
