If tweet fails to load, click here. “It’s important to know why the files have been delayed is because [Obama appointed Judge Paul Engelmayer] has ordered a SECOND review of those documents and is now requiring certification of those documents by U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton, while simultaneously blocking the appointment of a special counsel. This is causing MAJOR delays.
Anna says she will be bringing forward a bill to IMPEACH Judge Engelmayer for obstructing the release of the Epstein files.
As of today, the DOJ has completed a review of over 5 million documents, conducted by over 500 attorneys, and they are ready to be released NOW

Thanks for posting. That sounds good. I hope the Chairman and Ranking Member followed up on Luna's offer to put them in touch with Todd Blanche.
Curse of X...I wonder what Luna meant by the judge "ordered a second review of the SDNY" files. Did that mean to see if there were any files they missed?

No the files are held up by courts in New York and always have been. You blame bondi and Trump but so ignorant on the thing you cry most about.

Meghan won't shut his cockholster.
But Massholes will post an 18 month old tweet to show he is a true patriot.

Documents will soon be more numerous than the stars. Why in the hell does Epstein get five million documents?

Massie has nothing to say, for now. He'll blame this on Republicans soon, I'm sure.

Congress needs to subpoena Judge Paul Engelmayer to ascertain why he has demanded a second review of the files prior to release. Then when he fails to appear, hit him with contempt of congress and dish out the most severe penalty allowable for it.

Massholes look like clowns again

The whole thing has been a scam forever. New York has had the files, New York held him while he killed himself. People act shocked when they blame it on Trump. Most everything is beyond statutes of limitations and sealed by grand juries. Of course Massie supporters don’t know this shite but talk about it daily here.

Then why did the Trump administration’s DOJ charge Epstein in 2019?

Y'all's lack of knowledge is shocking.
The items under seal by Judge Engelmayer are MINISCULE compared to the DOJ files. More important, they are completely irrelevant to one of THE main reasons for releasing the DOJ files: to determine whether or not people other than Epstein or Maxwell were involved in their crimes.
Judge Won't Unseal Transcripts
Judge won't unseal transcripts of grand jury that indicted Epstein ex-girlfriend Maxwell
Nation Updated on Aug 11, 2025
NEW YORK (AP) — Transcripts of the secret grand jury testimony that led to the sex trafficking indictment of Jeffrey Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell shouldn't be released, a judge ruled Monday in a stinging decision suggesting the Justice Department's real motive for wanting them unsealed was to fool the public with an "illusion" of transparency.
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer said in a written decision that federal law almost never allows for the release of grand jury materials and that making the documents public casually was a bad idea.
And the judge also belittled the Justice Department's argument that releasing grand jury materials might reveal new information about Epstein's and Maxwell's crimes, calling that premise "demonstrably false."
After privately reviewing the materials the government sought to release publicly, the judge wrote that anyone familiar the evidence from Maxwell's 2021 sex trafficking trial would "learn next to nothing new" and "would come away feeling disappointed and misled."
"The materials do not identify any person other than Epstein and Maxwell as having had sexual contact with a minor. They do not discuss or identify any client of Epstein's or Maxwell's. They do not reveal any heretofore unknown means or methods of Epstein's or Maxwell's crimes," Engelmayer said.
He said the materials also don't reveal new locations where crimes occurred, new sources of Maxwell and Epstein's wealth, the circumstances of Epstein's death or the path of the government investigation.
The best argument to release the transcripts might be that "doing so would expose as disingenuous the Government's public explanations for moving to unseal," Engelmayer wrote.

Not what she said.
She said that the judge “ordered a second review of the files BY SDNY’s U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton”.
Basically a road block / speed hump, considering there are over 5 million files.

Ok then, a-hole, demonstrate that for us.

I wish we would drop the E files,,,,,they will be so redacted, nothing will make sense, IMO

I hate 99.5% of Congress but if it's coming from APL or Tim Burchett, I tend to believe it.
They've not yet given me reason to doubt them.

The only "court-controlled" items that Engelmayer has sealed relate just to the prosecution of Maxwell and are limited to:
-grand jury transcripts and exhibits
-sealed filings on the Maxwell docket
-protective-order material submitted to the court
-Certain discovery materials that were never introduced publicly
This has ZERO to do with what would be most helpful and is certainly in the DOJ files INDEPENDENT from anything in Judge Engelmayer's control.
The DOJ could (and should, as required by President Trump’s law) release the witness statements naming possible suspects or accomplices. With those 302s, the DOJ should release the related DOJ declination and non-prosecution memoranda which would reveal
-Why certain leads were not pursued
-Why potential co-conspirators were not charged
-Whether decisions were based on evidence, policy, or external pressure
