When you watch this interview with CBS, he seems to think climate change might actually be a thing.

He insinuates man can do something about carbon emissions, why else would he want to do this unless he believes the carbon put in the atmosphere is warming the planet?

Not surprising, he has always been a bit of a conservationist....not that there is anything wrong with that.

He used to be in charge of Coastal Preservation and Restoration in Louisiana. This isn't surprising.

Not surprising from an Alabama man. Thankfully I voted for Dan Claitor.

He can insuate all he wants, but man can't/won't do anything, because we can't. The Worlds infrastructure and economy would collapse, with the spectre of a crumbling civilization, forced to return to 18th century standards of living armed with nuclear weapons. No, it will never happen.

I’d go back to the 18th century right now and not think twice

As long as he's focused on accomplishing things in his district (Comite diversion, duplication of benefits, widening I10 between 110 & 12, etc) he can talk about climate change all he wants.

The climate has been changing as long as there has been a climate.

Now, I don't think carbon produced by man is having much, if any, effect on that.

We can recognize the world around us and realize that as the climate changes, we may need to change how we do some things / protect some things.

And generally speaking, less pollution is better than more pollution.
