Elizabeth Warren and Oregon dem Jeff Merkley have introduced a bill that would strip the congressional medals of honor that were awarded to participants in the wounded knee massacre.
Heels up, crazy Bernie,Pat Leahy co sponsored the bill.
So they're opening a can of worms that congress will have to approve of military awards.

Thank God we're tackling the real issues of our time

Warren’s ancestors were killed there.

Being of Indian ancestry, I believe that this makes no sense. The people in question have been dead for a long time.Let it go.

This is the stain they should be worried about.

Trump will restore them if it's even possible for goofy congress people to attempt to steal them. This is the epitome of virtue signalling and a stunt. BTW soldiers are not in the political business. When they are sent to fight that's what they do. So a brave act is a brave act.

All this is, is another attempt by the left to change the past and rewrite history. I seriously can't figure out why we haven't stormed DC yet, with our government officials (that are paid with our tax dollars) wasting time on preposterous bullshite like this and "Peach Mint 45" while completely ignoring border security, immigration reform, USMCA, wasteful spending, feces and needles on the streets from the homeless in every liberal stronghold in the lower 48, etcetera.
It's getting close to time for a convention of states, or an amicable secession. It will 100% happen as soon as the left finds a way to abolish the Electoral College.

Pocahontas is a miserable count.

Why would Warren (1/1028, or whatever) have anything to do with a Native American topic. She is a little short on common sense.

This will really change the lives of people today.

There is no such award as the congressional medal of honor.
It is simply the Medal of Honor and it is awarded by the executive branch of government.
Not sure how much authority the legislative branch has here.

There's no such thing as a "congressional medal of honor." It's just the Medal of Honor, but this whole thing is just stupid on Liawatha's part.

I'm Ok with this as long as they go ahead and strip all MOHs from Union Soldiers who fought in the Civil War. Just like they did to the South, the Union wanted to forcefully take their land and resources. And yes, Indians were also slave holders.
