What were the issues important to you, and various other factors involved, that led to your decision in the 2016 Presidential election?

All the pompous lying and corruption, spying by our Govt, and the quicker drip to Socialism by the so called liberal increasingly taking over everything, with our own tax dollars, and personally receiving kickbacks enriching themselves as we struggle , pure corruption...

Sending a middle finger to the establishment government.

It's worked so nicely, I think I'll do it again in 2020.

Just reading comments from the left wingers in here is enough to convince any sane, rational person to never ever vote for a democrat. Misery and insanity makes for poor policy

Trump was not a “politician“ and I like the fact that he spoke his mind no matter who it offended.

This. I never foresaw the success he would have and only voted against another Clinton.

Too easy...specifically, what character traits, policies or party plaform beliefs, were you in disagreements with?

My biggest policy concern is spiting the progressives.

Why? Specifically, what is it about them led you to vote for Trump?

Republicans and Dems were voting along party lines regardless. The Indys were just tired of the status quo which swung the election.

What was it about the "establishment government" made you feel like your vote was sticking it to "the man"?

What policies did you consider "insane"?

I voted for Gary Johnson because he supported the FAIR Tax Act.

I didn’t want to vote for Trump because of his tweeting shenanigans and support for ag subsidies. Had my state been in doubt, I likely would have voted for Trump.

I still don’t like the ag subsidies, but have learned to appreciate the tweets. I plan to vote for trump in 2020.

I disagree with everything she stands for. Also, she breathes the same air I do.

Initially: I’m in an O&G career; it was strictly a business decision.

Almost immediately after/during the election: it was because of the melt, the bias, and now the attacks on American democracy

Well through both Bush and Obama we were involving ourselves in endless wars in the middle east.

We were playing piggy bank to the likes of NATO and the UN while they failed to meet their own obligations.

We were bending over for China to abuse our laws and IP.

We were doing nothing about the continued mass illegal immigrations at our southern border.

Continued threats to our 2nd amendment.

Ignoring the voices of "flyover" states in favor of New York and California liberal elites.

Hollywood preaching to us from high.

I could go on but I figured this was enough to frick up your "Gotcha" moment.
