Good God man..............that's just a truly absurd response.

If the govt was investigating General Electric for wrongdoing, would you let the new CEO for GE be the person who determined what records got released?

Well they aren’t “determining,” they’re consulting and being given the opportunity to justify continued restriction. Barr has the final say. If you’re just looking for something to whine about or if you just want to argue, I can pretend to be outraged by the move.

Just let me know.

So.

For clarity.

You unequivocally support the Trump decision. Correct?

I don’t do unequivocal. I’m a deliberative and cautious man by nature.

Is that enough of a wedge for you to work an argument into?

frick you, convict.

I made a statement, which you mistakenly chose to mock. You've got an opportunity to admit that you were wrong, and like most seething libs, you're going to chose to pivot to some limp dick ad hominem attack because you got embarrassed by the facts. I understand that your kind have a severe allergy to logic, but eventually you're going to be forced to coexist with them.

either you support or not. Fence sitting is silly.

Well, if you had just started posting on this board last week, this probably wouldn't be such an absurd claim.

LOL. We get it. You lack the spine to just take a position and want to claim this is how you NORMALLY act when the reality is, it's just what you do when you're uncomfortable.

Because you do a WHOLE LOT of unequivocal on this board.

A lot of people don’t really want freedom. It’s a lot of work, a lot of responsibility and they’re either too lazy or too stupid to handle it. So they prefer being led around by the nose. It simplifies things for them when they don’t have to think for themselves, to decide for themselves.

That right there, sir, is definitely sig worthy.

Barr should take a look at Obama's fake birth certificate. If Barry was willing to engage in political espionage against an opponent then he wouldn't mind falsifying a BC.

I’m much more liberal than most of this board but I’m all about transparency. As long as sources or people will not be put in danger, declassify. I don’t have any idea if there was some nefarious done, but I think an investigation is not a bad mood. Any well run organization does a postmortem on a big project. An investigation is the same thing. There is a lot of power investigators have. It’s just good governance to make sure they are using it responsibly. If they aren’t, nail people to the wall. If they are, say good job and get back to work.

I’ll say this as someone who is not a Trump fan. I would much rather have a second term of him than a situation of what some people have said on this board where it was a massive conspiracy. One is much more dangerous to America.

Extremely well-stated.

Much of what is going on right now has nothing to do with liberal or conservative viewpoints, it's about building or maintaining power and control.

There's an outsider in the White House, and there seems to be an undercurrent resisting or pushing back at him. Sadly, people view it mostly as partisan politics, but the real "partisans" appear to be those used to running the system, and don't like someone outside their circle of influence in place.

The purpose of that city outside of any state is to serve us the people, not to dictate to us what we do (and get rich in the process).
The media has been the biggest shocker to me over the past several years. I knew there was an intrinsic bias, but it's been blatant propaganda from some of the big groups- something I didn't think I'd see in my lifetime. Luckily, it's not something one un-sees. It's just sad to realize where we are.
