Remember the cops that told the gym protesters, "Have a great day"? Came back. Made arrest

The cops came back and arrested a gym customer. At least 3 TV crews were on the scene for the "perp walk" (a la Roger Stone - "we just happened to be in the neighborhood - had a hunch")

I'm not positive but in looking at the uniforms I think the guys that told them to have a nice day were local cops while those doing the arrests and citations are state.
Either way, they just waited til after Pete Hegseth was gone and not televising it live to the nation. Won't get near as much coverage now.

This is terrible. Is this what we are becoming as a nation? I am usually a huge back the blue guy, but this is just too much.
Unreal!!

They were not the same cops

Just shows a lot of these “protect and serve” are not bold enough to think for themselves.

Cops were local - said, "Bellmawr" on the door they shoved the dangerous handcuffed criminal into.

Cops teaming up with media to create a public bias against someone who is innocent until proven guilty.
(You could argue that it is jury tampering)

Ok. Apparently the "have a nice day" guys got reprimanded.

Looks like it. Looked at the previous video. Same unis -down to the orange stripe down the pants.
The governor probably had a hissy fit.

same here. Police unions have got to back the Constitution and the long term viability of citizens support of Officers by calling for an end to this and tell their officers to not support unconstitutional crap.
Go back to enforcing actual laws and not dictatorial mandates.

Why?

Why?
Because every officer I know personally is not some power hungry dirt bag like they are all portrayed in the media.
Most of them are good guys and women who just want to do their job and not cause problems in the community. They have been made out to be villains due to the media and a small portion of their ranks. Most of them go out of their way to be a positive part of their community.
But go ahead and bash them but make no mistake about it, in your time of need they will be there for you.

After USMC Infantry spent 23 years as a local cop here and have been federal since 2008. This arena has no place for police, when you send the police to do this type of enforcement nothing good can come out of this scenario. I am so glad I am not a local cop at this time having to respond to these calls.

It’s time we rise up. I’m sorry but those people should have mobbed the cops arresting him. Hate to say it but that’s where we’re at as a country. We fight back or there won’t be a country left.

The residents of NJ elected these fricks, they really need to deal with it...

Other way around, I believe. State Police were the ones who informed them they were in violation and left it at that.

They didn’t elect them to trample on their rights.
