The Crusades? You mean that response to militant Islam spreading by force, killing and raping Christians and others who did not want to submit to Islamic rule?

You could learn some history as well. The Crusades were in response to the conquer, rape, and pillage of Christian territory by Muslims. What were they supposed to do 700 years ago, wait for the Geneva Convention?

No one has claimed Christianity to be a perfect religion. It has its problems, but much of those problems have been weeded out over the years. The Religion of Peace has not weeded out any of their extremist actions and everytime there is an Islamic attack, the left responds with "It's not all of Islam" "Christians did this too"

The left has become completely lost in open mindedness and tolerance they fail to see the big picture. Islam wants to destroy Western civilization, they just lack the means to do so. Liberals will willingly give them the means to take us down to prove their intelligence and their tolerance.

Well, not in the US so much. Not since the KKK fell out of favor.

In other countries it does happen, though. The NLFT and NSCN in India, the Maronite Christians in Lebanon, the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda.

Not to mention the 11 or so killings that have occurred at abortion clinics.

That said, your overall point is still valid - there really isn't a place in New Testament theology that makes for allowances for violence against others. In all fairness, all but self defense are pretty much against true Christ teachings. Islam, OTOH, while I am sure has a large number of peaceful worshipers, has much more built into it that allows for violent attacks against non-Muslims (and has been stretched to allow for Muslims of different sects of Islam as well - ISIS is a huge example of that).

I know all of Europe would be Islamic and we’d all be part of a moon cult that worships a pedophilic warlord if it wasn’t for the crusades. I can tell you women would not be voting and gays would not be marrying (or breathing for the matter).

Really David Koresh is you martyr here? That is what you are going with?

Um... yes you did. The poster you were replying to said he was burned to a crisp, with a bunch of children.

You acted like he was being made a martyr, thinking you scored a point. I'll go and read your follow up post now, but you're still an arse regardless of what it says.

You don't think there are kids in that Mosque? Do they not count because they are Muslim? I'm against the ending of any innocent life, no matter the religion.

Ok, so now you want to draw some equivalence between the cultists at Waco and Muslims. How many terrorist plots to kill other innocents were being fomented, plotted, and planned at Waco? I'll wait.

Last I heard it was reported that Paddock was an agnostic/atheist. If anyone knows differently set me straight.

That crucial caveat is always omitted by the anti Christian faction of society.

Folks, if you have to reach back almost a thousand years to make a comparison between Islam and Christianity, then you’ve already defeated yourself by proving modern Islam and Christianity are incomparable.

I already listed modern day era Christian terrorist organizations. Read my full post though.

And remember, according to sHitlary, we have to try and understand the Muslim terrorists and empathize with their point of view.

Perhaps you should educate yourself on those organizations because they are completely pagan and are only nominally Christian.

Paddock was only stated as belonging to no religious affiliations, that's not necessarily the same as being an Atheist.

That said, your question seems a bit oddly worded. "The communists"... do you mean all Communists? Pretty sure there are some Communist countries out there with religious views. Or do you mean THE Communists, like the ones who were the most influential?

I think for the leaders in particular it has less to do with being an aethist, and more to do with removing a source of central gathering and focus from the people you're trying to subjugate. In the old days kings would just say that God put them in power; more recent governments who went for this authoritarian approach would want to remove any non-government organization that could wield significant power, like a religious one.
