Reasons why DeSantis is the guy we need to get behind

Trump won’t be able to do anything in just 4 years. First 4 years of a presidency are setting up your goals. The next 4 are when you actually get shite done. It can only happen when you are the president for two straight terms. Can’t have any breaks in between.
Trump is also too immature, during a time when immaturity and stupidity can not be allowed to happen in our government. Trump cares too much about boosting his ego, and will care more about getting revenge, than doing what’s right for this country. We don’t need someone like that to set things straight.
Also too much baggage on Trump, and if he were our GOP nominee, it’d almost ensure that a Democrat gets put into office again.
DeSantis is pretty much just like Trump politically, but doesn’t care about his ego, doesn’t bitch or try to get back at every single person who attacks him, he’s young, and much smarter with his responses. Doesn’t lose control and doesn’t start spewing shite. DeSantis is the perfect type of guy to take over the MAGA movement, and to continue this new conservative movement, that Trump started.
Trumps window was 2016-2024. The Trump era is over, and it’s time to move on for the better, for conservatives and this country. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow, because Trump did a ton of good things, and woke a lot of people up, but this is what’s necessary. Sometimes we just have to do what’s necessary, even if we don’t like it.

First off, the media will make anyone look like anything they want. They’ve done it with Romney, McCain, and Trump. They will do the same to Desantis. The only thing you can do to stop this is to stop drinking the fricking koolaid that you’re consuming, because they will say the same things about Desantis as they they have said about Trump. And you’d believe it because you’re a gullible piece of shite considering your turn against Trump. It won’t be long until you’re stabbing Desantis in the back.

I don't think y'all fully understand how many us who voted twice for Trump don't want to again. His support is not what it was in 2020. A lot of people are burned up by his Operation Warpspeed. We also saw how quickly what he did was erased. The people he appointed were terrible, with a few exceptions. You can down vote me all you want but you need to face the fact. His time has come and gone. Even if he does get elected, he won't accomplish anything at all and he will ensure a Dem victory in 2028. We will be right back to where we are right now.

Ok so they are the same in this book, let's assume that. I don't agree with it fully but I hear where you are coming from, so let's just hold that constant for both candidates.
Is DeSantis going to do something like let Fauci run the country by fiat?
Is he going to do something to infringe on 2A rights like banning bump stocks?
Is he going to spew verbal diarrhea stream of consciousness like using bleach and UV light to treat patients with COVID?
Is his cabinet going to be a revolving door of buffoons?
Will he spend every engaging in petty fights on social media instead of acting like a grown man?
Some of these are unknowns for DeSantis, I get it, but some are not.
And because, as OP pointed out, we need 8 continuous years of swamp drainage, DeSantis is a far superior pick.
I'll vote for either one. It's just one is better than the other, and a lot of people on here don't want to admit it.

Trump needs to bow out and endorse DeSantis otherwise say hello to your Democrat overlord in 2024.
Trump can still have enormous influence and shape the agenda but he is not a a viable candidate for 2024. The Trump's phenomena is over.
