You don't just toss out some numbers, ramble on about how little you know about business, then say "nah, no opinions there."

Apparently so.

I'm going to bed. It seems that all the adults have left the thread and only the 14 years olds are still here.

If you’re watching me cubbie, you know I’ve said over and over, cut it all then bring back what’s needed.

To be clear for anyone that just entered the thread, that response was directed at whackit, not me, whom after suddenly remembering his sensible bedtime, is no doubt enjoying a thorough floss, before retiring for the evening.

I'm conservative fwiw (I can tell you are too by your tone.) I just also happen to be able to think for myself and recognize my own worth.

Nope. I expect the government to operate thoughtfully.

What emotion am I caught up in? And how is it different from whatever you’re caught up in?

she is employed by the local gov't so it most likely hits close to home.

Nah. I’ve never had trouble finding a job. I’m currently being courted for a better government job anyway. But I just had my third and probably last baby and I just want to stay home with him all day now.

IDK. I can think of a couple of analogies ,like ripping down an existing structure and replacing it with a new one designed to serve the same purpose, but cheaper and/or more efficient.

It can be a workable option, so long as it's done with a specific vision and an attention to detail. Is that the case with the whirlwind of EO's, stated policy goals, and public statements we've witnessed the past few weeks? I guess we all get to find out.

I’m sick of people saying “We all support cutting the waste and bloat in the government but there is a better way to do it.”

Listen morherfrickers, nobody has done shite about cutting waste and fraud for generations and now that someone finally comes along and actually does it you want to bitch and whine. Everyone else had a chance to do it and they did nothing. Their opinions and thoughts don’t matter anymore. Sit in the corner while the adults work please.

so there is a better way to do it...and we did it in 95 under Clinton...with congress approval.

The way Elon is doing it is rash, backfiring, and will also lead to lawsuits costing us money.
