Obama doesn’t want to be on the SC. Nothing in his post Presidency even remotely hints at this. I’m so tired of people just making up stupid non sensical shite then getting outraged about said stupid shite.
She didn’t retire because she wasn’t ready too. She liked what she did and was amazing. IF you don’t like what she achieved in women’s rights go back to the 1950s.
how would you no what the former president wants or doesnt want about anything?
quote:
Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden said that, if elected, he would nominate former President Barack Obama to the highest court -- if Obama would accept it. During an event in Washington, Iowa, over the weekend, Biden was asked if he would nominate Obama, his former boss, to the Supreme Court. "If he'd take it, yes," Biden replied.
quote:
The idea of appointing Obama to the Supreme Court has come up before, with 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton calling it a "great idea" when she was on the campaign trail. He would also not be the first president to switch branches -- former President William Howard Taft was the 27th president before serving as the 10th chief justice of the Supreme Court.
supposedly obama was all about "peaceful tranfer of power" and stuff...
quote:
“Now, it is no secret that the president-elect and I have some pretty significant differences,” Obama said. “But, remember, eight years ago President Bush and I had some pretty significant differences. But President Bush's team could not have been more professional or more gracious in making sure we had a smooth transition so that we could hit the ground running. And one thing you realize quickly in this job is that the presidency and the vice presidency is bigger than any of us.” The “peaceful transition of power is one of the hallmarks of our democracy,” Obama added, insisting that come January, “we are going to show that to the world.”
yet..
..people are just now learning what was *really* going on.

It's just in bad taste.
But books or films about the assassination of Bush43, or a play portraying a Trump like character getting stabbed on stage, Caesar style, is ' art '.
Yeah, you're totally unbiased and objective, and clearly have a fantastic sense of humor.

Take your beliefs and shove them up your arse, and tell us if it feels anything like your boyfriend.

Does it turn your stomach her replacement is a woman who cares for life so much she rescued a couple of discarded babies from that hellhole Haiti?
Once these otherwise-aborted-babies are born, that is the end of the pro-life road. Are the pro-lifers willing to have their taxes raised in order to provide assistance to these babies if they born into families whose reason for choosing abortion was economic.
The answer is no. They will start the well-worn conversation about how these woman are irresponsible for having these babies in the first place -- the old poor life choices mantra.
That is not going to change.

You don't believe that and no one believes that when you say it. It's a trope now.

You know how babies are made? Because my 10 year old knows how babies are made. In the real world, there are consequences for your actions. And no, it’s not my financial responsibility to take care of everyone else’s “oops”. I pay taxes that ensure that they have public schools to attend and free meals to eat while there. But for fricks sake...

You don't know anything about me, and if you're a Trumper, you obviously have zero ability to judge character or personal characteristics.

Not the thread for your government handouts platform.

Hmmm... could have sworn there were literally hundreds of taxpayer funded programs to support these babies, and their irresponsible parents. Could it be you’re full of shite?

Interesting concept. Maybe federal taxes should be tremendously higher where cost of living is higher...

That is not going to change.
Neither is the government enforced tax theft that supports more irresponsible people than anywhere else in the world.
