Ruth knew she was dying. Probably for a couple of months now. It's not like it snuck up on her. She knew what she was doing by not announcing her condition. frick her for putting the President in this position. If she was politically unbiased, if she had any integrity, she would have told the President.

Any reasonable person would step down if seriously ill near the end of life. She was obviously not fulfilling her duties for awhile now.
I am sorry she passed. I am actually sad she didn’t take retirement while severely ill.

She probably took a look at some of Biden's "speeches" and said frick it and just croaked. I won't make it another 4 years. Oh well. Not my circus (though it is -- it is).

I mean, she was definitely holding on for as long as she could to get a liberal replacement... but there are legitimate issues with the lack of transparency when it comes to SC Justice health.
Scalia all but keeled over and died in TX and there’s a chance he knew something was wrong but didn’t.
It took way too long for us to learn that Roberts had fallen and hit his head and had to go to the emergency room not that long ago.
And RBG has been sick and been trying to tell everyone she is fine for a while now.
It’s definitely an issue.

it is standard protocol to inform the WH if a Justice enters hospice. She didn't. Or died suddenly it happens...
I do not believe the Q nutjobs that she has been dead. This announcement cannot be held.
