I would compare the truthers to the folks who think there was a malevolent White House conspiracy behind the Benghazi attack. It's one thing to say that Hillary was asleep at the switch, but quite another to say that she or Obama deliberately had Christopher Stephens taken out.

EDIT: By the way, this video will tell you all you need to know about how much liberals despise truthers.

I'll be curious to see what the folks at MSNBC have to say about this.

I have to admit that I'm surprised. Al Sharpton just heaped praise on Rand Paul for denouncing Ted Nugent.

I've never heard anybody say that the Benghazi attack was a WH conspiracy.

The Benghazi cover-up? Totally different matter.

Not surprising at all. The end justifies the means.

This, just a glowing example of the ineptness of the Obama Clinton team.

One thing I've noticed about Paul is that he doesn't let low hanging fruit (eg. drone use, Syria war, Nugent comments, etc.) hang around for long. I also think that Paul and Cruz prove the axiom that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I've never heard Ron Paul use inflammatory language when talking about Democrats while Rafael Cruz uses language that would make some of the most hard-core right-wingers blush.

FYI, W wasn't subjected to a fraction of the below-the-belt insults that Obama was subjected to. It's not even close, and only the most delusional think otherwise.
Are you out of your fricking mind?

Yep. It is fricking funny. It's like these idiots were literally born at the beginning of Obama's term.

You serious Clark? I was in California during the W years. Every move was scrutinized. Maybe you weren't paying attention.

Not sure why you are responding to me. I agree. The notion that Obama is getting hammered worse than Bush was is goddamned laughable. At least Obama get 99% of his attacks from just the political world. Bush got ALL of that, plus damned near every entertainment media outlet took shots at him.

I'm talking specifically about the racially-charged, personal attacks that had nothing to do with his Presidency. I'm not talking about Obamacare or Benghazi, I'm talking about the outrage over Obama speaking to elementary school kids, which is something every President has done and which W was doing on the day of 9/11. I'm not talking about accusations that Obama's policies will harm the country, I'm talking about accusations that Obama's goal is to destroy the country. I'm talking attacks against Obama's mother and grandparents, who were basically accused of being anti-American frauds.

Can you provide a link to a comment made by a Presidential surrogate saying something similar?

So calling Obama a mongrel is okay with you and within the bounds of civil discourse?

Did I say that? I simply observed that it was pretty much within the norm of what I've seen for my entire adult life in politics. Your belief that somehow the left wasn't doing this under the last President is comical.
