Where do you see that?

Looks like it passed the Senate. This is going to screw a lot of people.
And it's really remarkable how quiet it was. I know it's probably really conspiracy theory level shite, but I could see this entire shutdown situation... or at least specifically waiting for something like it - being almost purposely caused in order to slip something like this in. That's how powerful the alcohol lobby is in this country. They're equally as influential as big pharma and the MIC. Bottom line is that people are drinking less. Is it BECAUSE of the THC beverage industry? Maybe. Maybe not. These guys are gonna go ahead and cut them off at the knees though just in case.
There was no way this would have ever passed if it was debated or openly discussed. So to sneak it into a bill that's about funding the fricking government is pretty convenient.
I've been sober for awhile. These legitimately helped me. They helped a lot of people. This whole thing feels very unfair.

The individual who initially sponsored or was the primary champion of the specific provision in the agriculture bill that frustrated Senator Rand Paul was Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who successfully pushed to federally legalize hemp in the 2018 Farm Bill but was, in this more recent instance, pushing along with Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) for language to crack down on the burgeoning hemp industry by redefining the statutory definition of hemp to restrict certain hemp-derived cannabinoid products. The specific interim spending bill itself likely had multiple sponsors or was a measure put forward by Senate leadership, but the key individual behind the contentious hemp provision was McConnell.

Bourbon or pot lobby. Maybe both.

Helped me too. My life has been completely changed for the better for the last 18 months being sober. Having an alcohol alternative that’s not gonna be available because these slime balls want to protect the alcohol industry is infuriating.
Abbott made the right decision here in Texas to veto Patrick’s ban on it was relieving. Didn’t think it would ever be threatened federally. Especially by the way of slipping it in under some spending bill. Absolute dog shite

They want us in a database as medical Marijuana users to use against us as they please.

This pisses me right the f off. They want to make normal people criminals while the truth is they're the real criminals.
Under federal law, it is technically illegal for a medical marijuana cardholder to possess firearms, even if they already owned them before getting the card. However, the federal government has historically not focused on prosecuting individuals for possession based solely on their medical card status unless other crimes are involved.
