Question: Is Trump more interested in backing the frontrunner, or the MAGA candidate?

PA & AL races - and now Cawthorn - have me very disappointed with MAGA King.

Both and make no mistake he wants his name associated with the winner, right, wrong, or indifferent.
By the way, disappointment in some choices he makes is part of being MAGA. The dude ain’t gonna do perfect. I can promise you have disappointed many in your life but they still support you because they believe in your potential and decency.

MAGA is only human. Sometimes MAGA voters have to tell the MAGA King who is and who is not MAGA.

Here in Ark. Trump is backing Boozman for senator and French Hill for representative. I'm not voting for either one of them. Both face politically unknowns who claim to be MAGA so I'll be pulling the lever for them instead. A little fresh blood so to say. We all preach about it so I'll be doing my part. The Dem counterparts don't stand a chance in hell of winning anyway in either race.

Making excuses for the cult leader is standard culty behavior for the acolytes.
Trump in 2016 was America getting its balls back. It was great, but it ended terribly.
It’s time to get away from the sunk-cost fallacy.
He’s not running again. If he ran, it would be the only thing preventing Republican sweep of all the major branches of government by 2024.
Get behind DeSantis and let’s get this country back on track.

I’m coming around to this.
I fear Trump would again appoint swamp dwellers who would be obstructionists and we’d be right back here with another missed opportunity.

No offense, but why does anyone make a big deal about who someone endorses? Especially someone who is no longer in office?
Tedd Budd is the best candidate in NC, but that's not because of who we was endorsed by. Kathy Barnette is the best candidate for the PA GOP Senate primary. It's not because of who didn't endorse her.
Heck, Trump is backing David Perdue in GA. That's not why Perdue is a bad candidate. He's a bad candidate because he's an establishment hack and a fricking loser. He lost his Senate seat to a fricking millennial that was propped up by Hollywood.
We shouldn't be worshipping or kneeling at the alter of anyone, much less holding our breath on who they endorse.

I get what you’re saying, but that’s not reality at this point. Many voters will only know candidates based on endorsements…especially voters over 60 and under 30.

If that's the case then our party is in trouble. Half of our party continues to hang on to and embrace losers, whether it be taking the endorsement of losers as gospel or choosing to vote for losers (or hacks) in a primary.
Pat McCrory lost his election in 2016 for Governor and he's one of the top 2 candidates for the GOP Senate nomination in NC. He's a fricking loser.
David Perdue lost his Senate election to a millennial brat. He's one of the top 2 candidates for Governor. He's a fricking loser.
Oz is a pro-abort who supported lockdowns and is a total clown. A guaranteed loss if he's our nominee, yet he's the slight leader to win the GOP nomination. He's a fricking hack.
It shows how fricking soft we are as a party that we keep embracing losers and hacks. It's pathetic and we should be better than that.

I am a huge Desantis fan but you watch what happens to him and he will make errors as does Trump and you will excuse the errors because he does more good than bad. I am fine with either one. There would be no Desantis without a Trump. He saw what was resonating with conservatives and he followed trump’s lead. Good for Desantis, he’s a hell of a politician.

Trump presided over a GOP that didn't need him and didn't want him. He is simply endorsing the best GOP candidate that has the best chance of winning so that he has people to work with when he is President again.

Ah yes I forgot about the cults where the acolytes make their own decisions and actively question the leader in the public forum and take actions in direct conflict with the head. Those seem to be the rarest cults, some don't even call them cults.

The GOP needed him but they are too corrupt to realize it. It will be too late when they finally understand.

Most times it seems like he checks the polls then backs the frontrunner

There’s no issue with Cawthorn. I don’t care about him screwing around and acting dumb in old videos.
I care about his voting record, him mentioning 2000 mules, and the establishment hating him (good).

If Trump learned anything in DC, its that you have to play the long game. If you can back a viable MAGA, you back him. If that candidate cant win, you might have to throw your weight behind the lesser of two evils to avoid a dem stealing the seat.

Perdue is the lesser of two evils. Kemp is responsible for both of the rigged elections in Georgia. Goal should be to remove Kemp and Perdue is the most likely.
Perdue didn’t lose, he was robbed and 2000 mules has fraud on tape from this election as well.

the establishment picks who they want to represent us... bottom line...
if you really want to make a difference you get up off your lazy arse, do your research and help the smaller candidates that you like the best... send them a check and get 20 other people to do the same... post about them all over your social media....
