No Roge... your idea of what a conservative is has always been wrong because you are a libertarian.

Where as you don't want gov, we want limited.

Conservatives have never been against gov. They have been against massive over reach and social rigging. Total difference.

But none of that matters Roge. YOU GOT TARIFFS BABY!!

Are other country’s tariffs on US products okay and why?

Are cheap goods and labor more important than economic fairness and longterm reliability for the US economy?

How would you level the trading playing field and give the US either fairness or the advantage minus tariffs?

What levers would you pull to make the US economy the best in the world?

Imported goods really aren't cheap just cheaper and more available than US goods.

To me the reason we aren't competitive isn't because we aren't placing higher tariffs on US businesses on their imports it's because of our own currency manipulation, runway spending and inflationary policies.

End the Fed and have congress pass an actual budget which actually cuts spending as well as all the waste, fraud, abuse and welfare. Cut taxes and eliminate costly and unnecessary regulations. Then we would have a much stronger dollar which would then make our manufacturing more competitive with the world once again.

Maybe you should try answering the question "who has the best economy in the world" that was previously asked. Just for a baseline.

According to the msm we do. The elephant in the room with national debt and budget deficits tattooed on its arse says our economy cannot withstand what we are doing without major change. This includes trade, spending, etc.

The bottom line is this.... we the people vited for Trump to lead America. The president is the only position that ALL of America votes for. Whatever economic policy this duly elected leader chooses to pursue IS THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.
Plain and simple

Conservatives are anti statist libertarians. Like Paul and Massie.

You are definitely not one. You should quit trying to be one.

With much more competition, yes. Mergers and such has left us with limited few companies that still cant get their shite together.

The media certainly criticized tariffs in his first term. Many people here did as well. If you're unaware of that you just weren't paying attention or forgot. That's not my problem.

Good. You should focus on spending. You can focus on trade by keying on what we do best...agriculture, energy, and tech. After that, key on manufacturing .

And Trump has already issued a statement to the GOP on that.

Fully supports it.
