Question for the Joggers of Political Talk

How often do you go jogging in a neighborhood you don’t live in, which is across an interstate from where you live, while wearing cargo shorts, high top shoes, and with a hammer?
I’m trying to get into physical fitness to improve my cardiovascular health and cover some intermediate distances, and hopefully lose a few pounds for my lady friend.
I’m just curious as to whether or not it makes sense to jog where I live or on the other side of I-10?
I’m also worried that my cargo shorts, high top shoes, and the hammer I just love carrying with me all the time will weigh me down, potentially cause ankle or foot injuries, and in general be detrimental to my aerodynamic profile. Thoughts?

Question for the Murderers of PT
How often do you go around patrolling your neighborhood looking for people you might want to shoot?

That pretty much sums this situation up
Their actions can not be defended

What was the guy supposed to do? Not try to defend himself?

He was a jogger. He LOVED jogging. Been jogging his whole life. Truly a passion of his, he even had a scholarship to Jogging University.
So why would he not just keep jogging?

So why would he not just keep jogging?
Probably because he didn't want to get shot in the back?

Well if he was shot in the back and didn’t attack anyone then this would be an open and shut case and the people who shot him probably would go to jail for a very long time.
But that isn’t what happened, is it? So now there’s a substantial chance these guys get off completely or at a minimum on far lesser charges.
The main point of this thread is that the jogging narrative is fricking bullshite and anyone who can’t admit that is being intentionally deceitful.
A criminal was killed. Wrongly, unjustly killed? Probably. Illegally killed? To be determined.

So you’re saying if I’m jogging along and someone points a gun at me and I try to wrestle it away, I’m in the wrong in some legal sense?

I have not seen the video.
Prior to the lunging at the gun, did the gunman ever point the gun at the deceased?

No shite. But you can understand why he might have a personal interest in NOT getting shot in the back?
Good fricking Christ you're worthless

How is attacking two guys who have guns with your bare hands increasing your chances of not getting shot, compared to continuing to run?

quote:Gotcha. Next time I'm in a life or death situation, my first thought will be about the inevitable court case and what actions I should take to make the murderer look as murderous as possible as he fricking murders me.

You mean 2 guys that ambush you with guns drawn that aren't police officers?
Why in the world would you think they'd just let you just keep going?
These guys were looking for a confrontation and provoked the entire situation.

I completely agree with that. They’re idiots.
Just like the crim ... - I mean jogger.

quote:That takes place in front of the truck, so you can't see exactly. What you can see is the gunman is outside the truck, to the left of it, and the deceased runs around the right side to avoid him. The gunman runs in front of the truck to cut him off. That's when they get locked up and start struggling over the gun.
I have not seen the video.
