The old testament of the bible, the tora and the koran have a lot of commonality. The new testament is where Christianity diverges as Christ brought love your neighbor and forgive ness of those that screwup.

Whereas the irreligious are never hypocrites but rather bastions of integrity. Moral agents who always keep their word and live up to the standards they have set for themselves. Always willing to go out of their way to help their fellow man as is reflected in the countless schools, hospitals, charities, etc. they’ve created over hundreds of years. And they certainly never war or cause the deaths of millions. Come to think of it, if there really is a god, it’s more than likely an atheist. Maybe we should worship them.

I really can go a long time without thinking about Mohammed or Islam. I won't trouble myself further.

I'm a centrist so I cant speak for leftists but as far as I'm concerned Islam is the worse, by a damn site, of all religions, which are all bad. As an atheist I appreciate the fact that the state keeps Christians and Jews and similar cults somewhat at bay lest they would behave the same way the small % of radical muslims behave.
