Question for our military (current, former, retired) about Vindman and Dems.

Are you comfortable with the level of adulation that Vindman is receiving from the Democrats for serving our country?

It was disgusting. I would never want someone fawning over me like that, especially when I knew it was completely fake and they'd as soon run me over in the parking lot for getting in their way later.
Hell I tried to get out of having promotion ceremonies.

I’m military family, vindmans service was honorable, but operating in an advisory capacity his conduct and judgment was poor. The Dems focused too much on his service while overlooking his role as advisor.

My main takeaway is that never again are you to be able to question the honor or dignity or integrity of anyone who has ever served in the military.

I'm indifferent. I know it's fake and don't really care. I'm also one of the ones who refuses to get special deals on Veterans Day since I'm not a veteran yet (I'm still active).

All my military friends are most comfortable with, "thanks bro". None of them require a ceremonial level of thanks. Seems to only happen in DC and on TV.
