I'm fine with everyone being in on the negotiations. As long as when Iran breaks the agreement, all of those countries agree to annihilate the entire irgc

Pakistan is mostly Sunni, right?
Correct, but they have the second largest Shia population, and most are Twelvers. Twelvers are the ones who believe in the 12 Imams and al-Mahdi which make up most of the Iranians.
I should point out that Sunni and Shia have gotten along well in Pakistan for a long time, they even commonly intermarried, but, bucking other cultures around the world, it is actually less common today due to more religious zealotry.

Just to be clear, the US is actively breaking the agreement and broke the agreement yesterday. How do you think Iran should respond?

What are their motives here? Something about this whole deal is so odd to me, but maybe I'm just stuck in a different era of ME leadership and policy. Obviously this administration has a billion times more information than I'll ever have, but trusting Muslims to have our best interests in regards to other Muslims is uncomfortable at best
I 100% believe that ME countries are glad Iran has been knocked off its pedestal and greatly weakened. Iran has been the driving force behind hostilities in the ME. If Iran is kept in check, the ME has potential to grow and modernize.

So, just to be clear, you think the breaking of the agreement was facilitated by America?

I think the US has not handled it's ally in Israel, leading to an ongoing breaking of the agreement by the US, and Trump, threatening to kill Iran's negotiating delegation yesterday, broke the agreement yesterday. Here's the text of the first point in the MOU
quote:
1 — The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and their allies in the current war are signing this MOU to declare the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or any military operation against each other, and to refrain from the threat or use of force against each other, and ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon.

Is that a yes, or a no?

Do you need me to spell it out for you
1. I think the US ally, Israel, is driving the ongoing breaking of the MOU.
2. I think the US, via it's President, broke the MOU yesterday when he threatened to kill the Iranian negotiating delegation.

Is that your answer? because them and Lebanon have issues.

In response to their leadership threatening, correct? Or do you plan on just not pointing that out?
Why dont facts matter to you

I suppose that’s your dream scenario, eh? If you had the ability to make things as screwed up as possible for this country, eh? Eh? Move to Canada if you hate so badly. All you gotta do is drop in an “eh” here and there and the language barrier will be no more. Except for French. You may wanna pick up some French.
So just to interpret your melt-you think this is making the already bad situation more of a convoluted mess right?

This is like some corporate meeting bullshite. Basically accomplished nothing more than having talks about having future talks

I had two, distinct and clear answers for you. I'm not sure how else you would like me to convey my answers. Israel is consistently breaking the MOU, America broke the MOU yesterday by threatening to kill Iran's negotiators.

No.

I think facts matter to one of us, that we can agree on.

Yes....this is an absolute threat...we have no way of enforcing a ceasefire between 2 OTHER countries, until it happens. That's a big difference than them threatening to shut down an international waterway and threaten ALL countries that have assets in the strait.
So again, trumps words were in RESPONSE to Iranian officials public threat.
The Trigger: Iranian military officials announced they were closing the Strait of Hormuz, alleging that the U.S. failed to enforce a recent ceasefire agreement regarding Israeli military actions in Lebanon.

They’ve been “negotiating” for three months, then we had an MOU to continue negotiating over the same things, and now we have a bureaucratic hierarchy established to negotiate the negotiations
Ever try to negotiate with a crocodile?...same thing.

You obviously have not read Art of the Deal., where Trump says "My style of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I am after, and if that doesn't work, I arrange for a High Level Committee."
