I don’t have to know swallow everything the MSM serves, but Putin is a war loving nut. He has had his way with anyone that deals with him in Russia, completely corrupt, and you will not find anyone who will disagree with him in his inner circle.

I’ve watched more news in the last week than probably the last year. Haven’t seen Putin live once.

Feel free to demonetize Russia because the are not innocent but neither is Ukraine and no country has invaded more sovereign countries than the USA has since WWII.
The Ukraine is where Russia originally started. So Russia has deep connections to Ukraine. A hell of a lot more connections than we ever had with Cuba or Libya kuwait or Afghanistan or Iraq or Korea or Vietnam.
Just saying the west has been encroaching on Russia for awhile. And there actions are no different than what we did in Libya.

He wasn't nuts, but there have been a lot of stories about major health issues. That can affect your mind in a lot of ways.

The US was buying over 500,000 BBLS per day but not of crude oil from Russia, some are things like naphtha, some gasoline and diesel for the East Coast because cheaper than shipping from the Gulf Coast on US Flag tankers

I'll be honest. If I was in Putin's shoes, I'd probably do the same. They need Ukraine. Their economy sucks arse. They need the raw materials, the port access, the arable land. It's all there, and it used to be theirs. Why wouldn't they want it back? I mean, you'd be stupid not to try.
