So Russia and the Democrats have a lot in common. Is that worthy of any amount of support, or even engagement?

It depends on which issue you’re talking about.

On THIS issue Russia seems to be the opposite of democrats. Are you suggesting the Russians are the communists here for opposing the vaccine mandates while democrats are the freedom fighters for supporting them?

It’s sad that we have to look to Russia for the voice of reason in these crazy times. Well done Vlad

Can't disagree with that, but I think they're both wrong.

Russia thinks they should use big government to control private business. Democrats think they should use big government to force everyone to get vaccinated.

I'm more concerned with the commonality between the two. Or, more accurately, I'm concerned about the support from so-called conservatives for that commonality.

I’m not.

Being conservative isn’t a suicide pact.

Nope. It's an ideology with a lot of wonderful principles.

Smaller government is one of them that I support.

Statistically, it's probably going to be successful, if not intellectually useful.

Allowing democrats to coerce private business to do their bidding isn’t a conservative principle

The Taliban have a better sense of humor than us, Putin respects freedom more than us and our military is tucking tail and getting a boot in it's arse on the way out the door.

That's actually the opposite of what I suggested.

He is none of that, don't idolize him. That doesn't make him wrong though.

Nope.

I saw some incoherent and unrelated babble, but nothing to suggest that I don't understand history.

Smaller government without any guiding principles, like supporting individual liberties, is senseless.

Legalizing rape and pedophilia would be smaller government. Would you support that in the name of conservatism?

Small government is great, but only a fool would throw away freedoms just to have a smaller government.

Putin is a great leader. I would love to have him lead America. Unfortunately, Marxist libs have hijacked this country.

I would take Putin over Biden in a heartbeat.
Putin is a corrupt authoritarian dictator but infinitely preferable to the International Bolshevist agenda directed by Soros.

Kind of like not hiring someone because they are black. Or making your female employees give you blow jobs. Your argument just got destroyed.
