The bottom line is this. To a Baptists, he thinks his denomination has all the answers. Same with a Catholic, Muslim, Hindu, Jehovah's Witness, etc. Talk to a conservative, liberal, independent and they are convinced that they are right. And then take someone in your position, you believe that your opinion is right and everyone else is blind. Plus, you say this information is common knowledge. Well it is to you because you only accept what you want to see and discard the rest. Even when what you believe to be true is proven to be false, it still remains in your stored arsenal of facts.
And in this way, your mind is closed off to any other alternative reason for any action or act committed that doesn't fit your narrative. And in that way, you are just like everyone else. A slave to a particular belief system.
So much so that a policeman shooting a canister at a protestor can't simply be that, but it must be some part of a greater globalists scheme.

Prime example: 9/11. When it happened, I was all gung ho to kill some Muzzies. Bought the car flag, watched O'Reilly. Did my patriotic duty to hate who I was told to hate, the whole nine yards.
Over time I began to realize something wasn't right. Talked to some people who were there that day, talked to a few military people who were over there, and got a very different story from them.
My mind was eventually changed.

I am as open-minded as anyone I know.

Hint: Calling me a conspiracy kook isn't going to persuade me to your line of thinking.

To be that short sighted would be to say that government corruption and crony capitalism are wacky conspiracy theories.

We're talking about politics here, not some individual's dinner party gone bad.

I'm sorry mean people do mean things. If I had a magic wand I'd certainly use it to fix the problem. But to shoot the messenger is the juvenile behavior I've come to accept and be entertained by here on the poliboard.
