I saw your original post. yes priests in the Orthodox churches had to have each sermon approved by the state. The messages were almost exclusively about being a good little communist and rejecting the evils of capitalism and free society. What was forbidden was the message from John 3:16 regarding mans' atonement from sin through Christ Jesus.
The communists were very successful at infiltrating the Catholic church as well. See below:
