I think I should have prefaced that I’m a Buddhist or Muslim and I’m doing my best to take care of the poor, the needy, those less fortunate, etc. I should be welcomed into God’s kingdom right?

I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 in large part because of his personal morals. After the last four years, I will march my happy arse to the polls in a few weeks and fill in the bubble with pride.

So he is less sinful now? He's repented? To whom? Falwell?

That depends on if you believe in universal salvation, or if instead you think "the way" means "only way."

He’s supporting morally good outcomes even if he’s very far from perfect. As I am also very far from perfect, I feel ok with that strategory.

That said, there were many on this board who saw nothing wrong from a moral perspective with driving over a VIOLENT MOB SWARMING A CAR, even if it resulted in their death.

And without violent street rabble pushing their atheistic BLM agenda, the base of the Democons would be significantly diminished.

Just think - if Democrats weren’t pot-committed to worshipping Molech and Dionysus, they could’ve easily picked up many more evangelical votes.

So if I believe in universal salvation I’m good to go as long as I do my part to “love my neighbor”? Correct?

Jesus did. And we are supposed to be like him.

With Trump, it seems like the daylight between him and Jesus has gotten larger, not smaller.

Then you will end up in heaven regardless of action or belief.

That's a fruits of the spirit issue. If you believe you can judge true belief, or if you are a big fan of James, then you look to works to determine whether someone is saved or not.

Let's go a little Galatians on our good president.

Check off whether he is more like this:

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Or like this:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.

According to old Paul (aka Saul the tentmaker), that is how you tell if you love your neighbor or not.

Run that back with Biden and Harris.

Not the question. You can vote for others besides Biden and Harris.

The question is if you apply it to Trump, is it moral to vote for him.

I would say only a couple of each apply to him. He isn't more like either, he is somewhere in between...a place where pretty much all of us are.

If you hold everyone up to these standards you have posted in here, how do you ever vote for anyone?

Really? What about this:
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really know me, you will know b my Father as well.

Doesn’t sound “universal”.
