Well, damn. For an unpopular war that lead to "debilitating" sanctions for their economy, they sure are supportive of him.

NATO certainly did pick a fight by surrounding his country with new members. I will give him that. Plus having the democrats blame everything on him and his country for years makes me stop and think about the lies our media is most likely telling when reporting about the entire conflict.

Must piss him off to hear the democrats constantly blaming him for shite.

From his speech at that rally- I think Hitler said things like that too, and filled stadiums at the same time.

Putin is an evil tyrant. Why he’s doing this to his country, who knows?

I can give you an idea- if you don’t support him, you go to jail. Russia isn’t the fun gay, trans, BLM-whatever we’re supposed to be pissed at or support it thing this week place like the US and Europe.

And those of you on here jerking your chains to Madison Cawthorn’s rhetoric you ought to be ashamed.

It’s 2022 people- you don’t cross a sovereign nation’s border and start a war unprovoked.

What are the chances you supported our wars in Libya and Iraq?

So what was US doing in Libya, Syria, and Iraq...which we don't even border and never attacked us?

When you get a “ticket” for one of those events, it is not an invitation.

That was all fricked up, but are you saying we and Putin were wrong or we and Putin were within our rights?

If you are just pointing out hypocrisy, a little more is called for here. What is right? Okay hat is wrong?

I don’t think most Americans realize how much the Gaslight Media and Dim blame game of Russia! Russia! Russia! for all their political woes (Hilldawg’s defeat, Trump/Russia collusion) contributed to the situation in Ukraine.

Joe says thanks to his booming economy Americans don’t have time to take off work from their high paying green energy jobs to come see him during the hours of 1:30PM-2:15PM.
Like his old man used to say every night while they held hands around the dinner table, “ain’t nobody got time for that”.

Did he invite Tucker Carlson to be keynote speaker?

Progressives have been getting their panties in a wad over the alleged highlighting of TC on Russian media.

This comment would make sense if there were even the slightest hint that the money being sent to Iraq comes out of Southern Border enforcement funds.

It's not like at the end of last year they said "Okay fellahs how much for the border of the USA this year? 10 billion? Okay, let's do it!"

Then 30 days later - invastion.

"Lets help! But shite, how are we going to pay for it? Wait, I have an idea, let's use Southern Border money!"

Not one less cent is going to USA border enforcement because of this. For all we know the money is coming out of the Department of Labor or NASA or something.

Your argument would be like saying "we can't help Ukraine, then we'll never finally make it to Mars!".

Most of my Republican friends are just as upset. It's not just liberals that think that the Kremlin issuing a memo to Russian media to emphasize Carlson in their reporting shows how in-line with the Kremlin his positions are.

Leaked Kremlin Memo to Russian Media: It Is “Essential” to Feature Tucker Carlson
David Corn
Washington, DC, Bureau Chief
Bio | Follow

On March 3, as Russian military forces bombed Ukrainian cities as part of Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of his neighbor, the Kremlin sent out talking points to state-friendly media outlets with a request: Use more Tucker Carlson. “It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticizes the actions of the United States [and] NATO, their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine, [and] the defiantly provocative behavior from the leadership of the Western countries and NATO towards the Russian Federation and towards President Putin, personally,” advises the 12-page document written in Russian. It sums up Carlson’s position: “Russia is only protecting its interests and security.” The memo includes a quote from Carlson: “And how would the US behave if such a situation developed in neighboring Mexico or Canada?”

The document—titled “For Media and Commentators (recommendations for coverage of events as of 03.03)”—was produced, according to its metadata, at a Russian government agency called the Department of Information and Telecommunications Support, which is part of the Russian security apparatus. It was provided to Mother Jones by a contributor to a national Russian media outlet who asked not to be identified. The source said memos like this one have been regularly sent by Putin’s administration to media organizations during the war. Independent media outlets in Russia have been forced to shut down since the start of the conflict.

The March 3 document opens with top-line themes the Kremlin wanted Russian media to spread: The Russian invasion is “preventing the possibility of nuclear strikes on its territory”; Ukraine has a history of nationalism (that presumably threatens Russia); the Russian military operation is proceeding as planned; Putin is protecting all Russians; the “losing” Ukrainian army is shelling residential areas of eastern Ukraine controlled by Russia; foreign mercenaries are arriving in Ukraine; Europe “is facing more and more problems” because of its own sanctions; and there will be “danger and possible legal consequences” for those in Russia who protest the war. The document notes that it is “necessary to continue quoting” Putin. It claims that the “hysteria of the West had reached the inexplicable level” of people calling for killing dogs and cats from Russia and asks, “Today they call for the killing of animals from Russia. Tomorrow, will they call for killing people from Russia?”

What a load of complete crap. The whole premise of “border enforcement” has been re-written. DHS is asking for volunteers at the border, not to protect the border and stop illegals from coming in but to process illegals and allow them into the country.
