George Will has a serious case of TDS.

For someone who purports to be one of the leading conservative thinkers of the last 50 years he has completely missed the point of the Trump revolution and why the nationalist-populist message resonates. If Will was being honest, Trump is a lot closer to Ronald Regan, who George Will idolizes, than anyone before or since.

It always amazes me why so-called conservatives can't understand why Trump and his message are so popular.

Why would you self-identify as an idiot?

You mean the people who were let inside by the Capitol Police? Those people?

And the only real violence was an unarmed veteran was murdered by a government employee whose name has still not been released.

If those dipshits in Washington believe that was an insurrection and justification for the fences and security around the capitol they sure as shite will be surprised if they keep pushing people. People eventually have a breaking point and when that point is reached I fear that we will see politicians drug out into the street and beaten to death.

Will is right and not just saying that based on the cuckservative’s kink of seeking claps from people that hate them. There was nationwide PTSD when some people goofed off in the capitol building. Never forget the brave capital security guard who courageously shot an unarmed (bio)woman in the throat and killed her. Also, a few of his colleagues stroked out from their fat asses shoving maga people all day. It was the worst tragedy in our nation’s history. Fortunately, all those people’s lives were utterly ruined and most are getting tortured in prison for their grave transgression.

Someone has been glued to Stetler and Lemon

Question: what about the Jan 6th people who were waived in and escorted inside the Capital?

edit: redundant post but you're still a pussy propaganda zombie

Fake news.

Trump: Build a wall
Reagan: amnesty for millions of illegals

Trump: fight the deep state
Reagan: increase the deep state to keep the USSR bleeding

Trump: surrounds himself with populists like Flynn
Reagan: surrounds himself with Neocons like Bush

Trump: had no government experience
Reagan: ran the biggest state first

The only thing that is similar about them if they like the same slogans and they appeal to the same base of people.

Ok point taken but I stand by my statement that Trump is closer to Reagan and the principles which he espoused than any other Republican President....certainly more than the Bush cabal.

I mean Bush 1 basically was the continuation of the Reagan administration so I don’t know how you can say that.

I think the rose colored glasses version of Reagan that conservatives have invented in the last 30 years is closer to Trump than any major Republican. Trump is what conservatives wanted Reagan to be to the point they are willing to retcon who Reagan was to compare the two.

Different era and different priorities:

Reagan got sold a bill of goods on immigration. The Democrats and Chamber of Commerce RINOS had no intention of really doing anything in exchange for amnesty.

Reagan's main mission as President was to instigate the fall of the Soviet Union so he gets a pass here. He was going to do that by whatever means although that the military and industrial complex went to new heights. But winning the Cold War was paramount

Reagan delivered on taxes and tax reform much like Trump. Enginereed a great economy much like Trump although Carter paid the price for Volcker crushing inflation.

Reagan's other foreign policy initiative was focused on crushing communist insurgencies in the Western Hemisphere. That was considered a real threat at the time. Regan delivered on that.

Reagan very pro-Israel like Trump

Reagan era was the Moral Majority era in the Republican party. Trump paid lip service to it and generally gave the religious right what they wanted.

Jan 6 is burned into my mind as the biggest false flag, faux travesty ever perpetuated. And George Will is burned into my mi... wait who are we talking about?

The real question burned into our minds is, when are you going to learn to spell "Nimrod" properly?

9/11: Over 3,000 innocent Americans murdered by foreign terrorists.

01/06: Someone put their feet on Pelosi's desk and one innocent American was murdered by her government.

Yeah, totally the same.

Well then he’s a liar. If he wasn’t stupid, he wouldn’t hiccup such stupid comparisons. It’s blasphemous to the REAL heroes of 9-11.
