Nowhere in the letter does it claim to punish "speaking positively about ICE". That's pure dishonesty (or an inability to read).
This is 100% correct. Principal is probably a leftist goon, but this just hints at it. I’m sure they already have language in their code of conduct that prevents bullying and teasing. That would be adequate to handle this.

I think the principal is just setting the tone for the kids. Kids can be brutal.... Every school from here to eternity has had someone crack a joke at a kid "Hey Juan, border patrol is here"
Probably could have just quietly enforced this.
I support the enforcement of our immigration laws and am in full agreement with the current level of ICE enforcement.
My family has had to go through the immigration process at significant cost. It's not fair for those who have had to follow the rules to give those who don't special treatment.

However, does what that principal state fit the actual guidelines for addressing “bullying,” or has he just arbitrarily expanded it via flowery leftist rhetoric?
There are ways to address issues that are “borderline.”
What that principal is promoting isn’t it.

The principal opens the door to suspensions based solely on the “feels.”
