Everything we told you about vouching in Minnesota is correct.
“A registered voter in that precinct who can personally vouch for the identity & residence of up to 8 new voters.”
“A healthcare facility worker can vouch for an ??UNLIMITED?? number of residents of facilities that they work for
regardless of where that facility worker lives.”
This is from an Election Judge training video for Carver County, Minnesota.

Make Thune and his dumbass crew of fools explain why Save Act is not a good thing

I could certainly be wrong, but I don't know that Thune's apparent inaction in the Senate is a function of will... or one of timing.
Let's see what happens as we get closer to the midterms.

Same b/c he is a liar, but at the same time, I also believe he is not the main culprit. He's merely running cover for the others who want to vote no.

All this is bad, but the healthcare facility worker vouching power is insane.
If you ever wonder how these crazy people keep getting elected with these far left anti-American views, here is your answer. They have been cheating the system for years.

No freaking wonder the Somali's had so many home health shell corps, they were stealing money AND elections.

I was thinking that too.
But it's MN.
Only reds get prosecuted in MN.

I know if will never be enforced but is there any type of law on the book against knowingly vouching for someone you know is not a citizen? Or is that something they decided would never happen so why make a law

The loopholes are the feature, not the bugs. If you'll note, I can't think of a single example of these kinds of open barn door pathways in red state election laws.

Time to switch Minnesota for Alberta.

This is absolutely correct. LINK
quote:
Employees of residential facilities may vouch for an unlimited number of facility residents who are registering to vote at the facility's address. Otherwise, vouchers may only vouch for a maximum of eight registrants.
I'm not sure when the healthcare worker part came into play, but the original voucher law was passed in 1973 as a MASSIVE over-correction for another bill which allowed voter registration on election day (prior law established a voter must be registered prior to election day), more specifically for people who recently moved and hadn't had time to change their registration. That bill had the limit 15 people (in 2013 it was lowered to 8) and the voucher also had to sign a legal document (no idea if that's still the case).
Benjamin Franklin once said those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither. I wonder if he ever considered a world where liberty could be sacrificed for simplicity?

In case folks who know all the words to Rocky Top weren't aware - it has everything to do with the registration/ballots and absolutely NOTHING to do with Grandma/Grandpa in a Minneapolis assisted living facility casting their own votes.

That system could only work with a high trust population.
Which we don’t have.
Maybe Minn had that decades ago, IDK.
