And the nation wide shortage of gas for power use is exploding, with no central states reserve. My lites are begining to flicker, I have been warned to shut off as much electricity as possible and the price for the next week instead of 15 cent per kw will be 4-5$ per kw.

I look forward to the shortage moving to the north east over the next few days with the artic cold. A contributor to the power shortage is icing up of the windmills and inoperability of solar due to cloud cover and snow cover.

Mr Biden* is caught running in the exact wrong direction both on fuel production and green nu deal for the next week or two. It will be a show that the news media can't conceal.

Ambulances were down the street about 30 minutes ago. Think the cdc will be toting up fatalities do to cold weather.

They will cover for him as usual. They ignore reality of lost jobs, political consequences in mideat and Russia (GAZPROM) and suffering of real people and will emphasize unicorns and puffy clouds of green energy. Plus they will spin it to be Trump's fault.

Got damn these people are stupid as frick. Yes going green is the future, but you don't dig yourself a 10 foot hole before climbing a tree. One must make gradual changes as the technology allows. Politicians are literally the worst.

Worry not.
Surely the shortfall will be made up with green energy solutions.

The moratorium on new leases on federal land has not a single thing to do with current energy capacity. Now from a long term perspective, yes it’s a stupid idea.

They aren't stupid. There is a motive behind this and I'm afraid it isn't good!

Not a chance. Your electric bill would be several thousand dollars for the month if that were the case.

You were misinformed.

These people are so stupid. Wait until there is a shortage of heating oil in the Northeast, guess that will somehow be Trump’s fault too.

Not really misinformed, depends totally on the elect providers mix of long term and spot fuels. There are 20-30 electric providers in Texas that will contract with the homeowner for daily pricing, or monthly pricing, 6 months , 1, 2 years. Daily is usually the most cheap except when delivery problems occur because they are most weighted toward spot gas pricing. Spot gas has moved generally from 2.20 $mbtu to some pricing at 50-60$mbtu, over the last 2 days.

Either the low cost supplier moves the unexpected cost to the home owner or goes bankrupt.

Abbot asking for national disaster declaration in part is to keep bankrupt gas consumer corporations financially afloat

Hunter Biden made millions off his expertise in the energy sector. Surely he has the answers. Give Hunter a job in the energy dept.

Look for the media to be full of stories informing the public about this situation.
