Now there are some drug instances that are crazy...like some of the insulin issues. There are cheap and common older drugs that work well that companies choose to quite producing because they'd rather make some new drug that has a high margin. There are things like unintended consequences, such as albuterol inhalers that were cheap and generic but suddenly weren't allowed because of the aerosol laws passed a while back.
There are things that need to be done with the drug laws. Problem is, those are the things our government is interested in fixing!

Is this why my inhaler is $70 ?!! Seriously I never knew. Always pissed when I refill it, but you know, breathing is pretty important to me.
