It's the people with money that get to escape. Who do you think left NYC when COVID hit? It wasn't the gun owners or those "prepared" for events that will never happen.

It was the well off folks who left town for the beaches in other states.

Don't let the people trying to mock you get to you, they'll be the first ones to go down if the shite ever did hit the fan. I don't know for sure that it ever will but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. I think the best advice was to stock up on ammo and be able to move fast and light, having that capability will serve a person well in such a situation

If you

stock up on ammo

how are you

able to move fast and light

Serious question

I get what you mean. The ammo would need to be stashed and a person would have to return to it when needed. When I say having the ability to move around fast and light I don't mean traveling the country like a nomad, I just mean having the capability to be mobile would be quite useful

I like your plan except for the Gun situation. You need to rearm.

All people need to do is look at NYC and what happended when COVID hit. The poor had no choice....the fat, disease ridden old people with no money were most of the deaths.

The people with means to up and leave at a moments notice left and went to the beaches.

Owning gun and ammo is fine, but mobility will always rule......meaning, the ability to up and leave at a moments notice to anywhere that isn't dangerous. That goes for anything - country being attacked, disease outbreak, water shortage, anything that could have severe impact on potential death.

At least you have a place.

The good news is that we sold our place in California. The bad news is we can't decide where to buy.

I want Arkansas to be in driving distance of relatives, plus I like the south.

He wants Idaho.

We may end up with places in both.

We do have a long term rental starting in September. I'm going to put stuff in storage. I'm going to have paper towels and toilet paper and some cleaning supplies I think I may add some baking goods like flour and yeast. That was hard to come by at the beginning of pandemic. I always keep rice and beans and other canned food.

I was on the edge of meeting with neighbors, after watching the John Mark Speaks Video. Didn't pull that trigger, but I did meet with a long time Black bud and his Pastor. Also met with their Choir Leader/Teacher - who expressed Antifa sympathies, but didn't want it spread, for obvious reasons. Talked for 3 hours; needless to say that he left "having a lot to think about".

They are good folk; just locked into a different 'perspective bubble'. Easy to imagine. And that is tragedy of this whole scenario. Like I told them, we've have to shoot at a distance before even being able to employ MLK's "content of character" over color of skin.

Watch/listen to JMS/Mark My Words "why the Right will win the coming civil war", L...if you can find it. His highly probably scenarios might help you in your strategy. Preferably, Trump wins in a landslide...hobbles the Insurrectionists, and intoxicated Dem Progressives sober up and get to work. The sky is the limit for future prosperity, given High Tech.

Good luck. God speed.

Why get rid of debt? If you want to really prep go all in on debt buying goods that hold real value. Hyperinflation would actually make you wealthier

PS...all those here mocking Prepping...I would like to hear your PLEDGE, NOT to stoop asking your prepared neighbor for their life-sustaining supplies, in the events herein imagined.

Let me guess...downvotes...but with NO PLEDGES.
