Jesus. Why do people get so goddamn emotional over this stuff?
Trump did the right thing. They should say thank you. The media should give Trump kudos for doing the right thing.
But also, Trump begging for thanks from 18 year olds is petty and weak as frick.
Why is it always all or nothing with you guys?

That is where my issue rests. He essentially has said that he used his own power and influence to get these kids sprung. Isn't getting rid of cronyism one of his pillars?

It's the fact that Trump HAS to get credit for it that drives people like me crazy. He has to get public credit for anything and everything he does even something so small as the UCLA players.

And as I stated in another thread, maybe Trump should figure out a way to "control the narrative" without appearing so weak?
