It happens every time after the midterms. This time is no different..
When January of 2027 hits you'll start seeing people jockeying for position..
Will there be any surprises throwing their hat into the ring?

For me, the only surprise would be if Rubio jumps in to challenge JD Vance. If Nikki Hailey runs, the neo/con wing of the Republican Party is dead. She’d get her clock cleaned.
There is no more room in the party for fake Republicans like McCain, Bush, Hailey and the mitt romneys of the world.
On the Dem/Marxist side, a surprise would be if Hillary decides to run. Outside of that, we’ll get the usual suspects.
Just my .02

Hillary would be 80 years old in 2028. I don’t think the democrats would be that dumb to elect another octogenarian. Now maybe the spawn of Hillary, Chelsea (Hubble) could run, but she is too busy cashing in on the Clinton Global Initiative grift.

Vance, Trump and Rubio will have to get in a room and decide. 90% chance it’s one of them.
Although DeSantis is currently putting on a clinic on how to be an effective chief executive, I don’t see Trump not backing one of those guys.
On the D side, they have a real identity crisis. Literally and figuratively. If it were me, I’d nominate whoever has the best shot to get 270 electoral votes. Which in my mind is Shapiro because you need Pennsylvania. But in today’s modern D party, no way they nominate a Jew. The next best chance would be Andy B from Kentucky or Whitmar from Michigan. But again, they wouldn’t survive a primary that would make them have to pivot way to the left.
According to a few betting sites I’ve seen, Gavin Newsom (20%) is the odds on favorite. Followed by AOC (11%), Ossoff (10%) and believe it or not, Kamala (6%).
None of those seem like a candidate that could win. Newsom would get destroyed in the rustbelt and won’t win one state. All you have to do as far as campaigning against him is remind people of the mass exodus out of California and everything that caused it.
AOC would be hilarious, please do it. Don’t know much about Ossoff other than he is running for Senate in Georgia at the moment. That tells you how much name recognition he doesn’t have. And Kamala would be another catastrophe.

Vance vs Osoff with the Dems running a non white woman as VP

The interview where they said that osoff is the most "non-jew" Jew acceptable, was crazy to hear from "the party of non-bigots, non-nazis, and non-hatred". Yet the Shapiros of the political world will goose step along.
We can only hope Georgians finally take him out of the Senate so he has little experience to actually run on.

Many Democrats want Newsome and AOC ticket. Makes sense. Newsom is a lying political glad handed and AOC represents their desire to be a socialist country.
Republicans have solid candidates in Vance, Rubio and even DeSantis is worth consideration .
