The Kentucky legislature is overwhelmingly republican and every bad idea governor Beshear came up with was stopped. Every Veto overridden. In positioning himself to run for president, he has shown his arse he would not win a race for governor today against the dog catcher of Paducah.

Beshear is popular because of his last name. If he wasn’t a Beshear, he wouldn’t have gotten elected. Lucky for us, a lot of his bullshite gets stonewalled.
It’s mainly this but also because he “supports teachers” and for some reason eastern Kentuckians who are otherwise republican voters worship teachers.
