Poll: Views of Democratic Party hit lowest mark in 25 years

Washington (CNN) Favorable views of the Democratic Party have dropped to their lowest mark in more than a quarter century of polling, according to new numbers from a CNN poll conducted by SSRS.

Only 37% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Democrats, down from 44% in March of this year. A majority, 54%, have an unfavorable view, matching their highest mark in polls from CNN and SSRS, CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup stretching back to 1992.

The rating includes low favorable ratings from some core Democratic groups, including nonwhites (48%) and people under 35 years old (33%). The numbers come amid recent feuds and divisions in the Democratic Party, as former interim chair Donna Brazile's new book has unveiled new questions about infighting during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Considering they hung their base out to dry in favor of every single liberal special interests group it is not surprising.

The party's failing precisely because of those progressive nut jobs. The pink haired whackos, blatant racists, socialists, and terrorist sympathizers are now the face of the party. Most normal people don't want to be associated with that.

Opinion of the Republican Party falls to all time low.

quote:

WASHINGTON (CNN)There are fresh signs the Republican Party's brand is in trouble. Fewer than three in 10 Americans -- 29% -- hold a favorable view of the Republican Party according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. That is down 13 percentage points from March and is the lowest mark for the GOP since CNN began asking the question in 1992. The previous low point for the GOP was 30% -- hit twice -- in October 2013 following the federal government shutdown over President Barack Obama's health care law, and December 1998, in the wake of the House of Representatives approving two articles of impeachment against then President Bill Clinton.

37% seems too low though. There's still a lot of delusional people aboard the train wreck. The party is just too goddamn dumb to realize they're sabotaging themselves, and it's fun to watch.

I'm sure this will be acknowledged and taken seriously.

That's because there is a rise in white nationalist nazis in this country since Trump took over. I'm literally shaking.

Trump supporters hate the Republican Party establishment as much, if not more than, the Democrats. It shouldn't come as a surprise their numbers are that low.

Fair enough. I'm still waiting for a relatively fiscally conservative, socially liberal (or at least socially laissez-faire) option to emerge. Yet, here we are, mired in the dumbfrickery of the extreme right and left.

What? The Democrat Party choosing not to denounce groups like BLM and ANTIFA is a major part of this.

I'm a conservative and those numbers for the Republican Party are well deserved too. The republican establishment and this congress suck balls.

However, the democrat disapproval numbers are because the fringe sect of that party is literally a band of lunatics and they've royally pissed off mainstream America.
