Actually they don’t. They despise what it has BECOME since Trump, the tea party, and the far right has gone over the edge in losing their minds. That is what they despise. And the rationale behind being for secession... They don’t want ( y’all aren’t going to like this... don’t shoot the messenger) to be any part of what they consider to be a lesser educated, more radicalized, heavily religious, ultra conservative faction that IS the vast majority of the south.
