White, black, red, purple... the police had an obligation to protect the occupants inside that building from an armed intruder unresponsive to police commands.

Clearly. Unless body cams show him putting the knife down and surrendering, this is a good shoot.

Shoulda placed the knife down outside and picked it back up when he exited the store. And then young Trayford would be starting law school in the fall

People in the video saying, "They should have done something to avoid ending his life. There is nothing that justifies them ending his life."
They didn't shoot him the first time...he ran away from police with a knife towards/into a convenience store....I mean, at what fricking point are they allowed to shoot someone like that?
This is insanity, and these black "leaders" on TV just make it so much worse for the black community by constantly coming out and defending these idiots.

There's people all over the CNN twitter post defending this guy and saying he was hunted down by police. It's unreal.

Police officers have been taught forever to shoot center mass. There are many reasons for that. Aiming for the extremities increases the likelihood that the perp won't be stopped and the chance of innocent people and the officers being injured or killed. This is real life, not a goddamn movie.
