Wow... that's criminal.
I share your sentiment 190%, but I’m not sure it is criminal by the letter of the law. Violation of oath of office, maybe, but I doubt the oaths are worded where it would apply here. Plus that would be state charges … in Chicago.

Exactly like j6.
They want carnage and death to blame Trump with.
There's no going back to being ok with these people.

So, the police get to pick and choose what calls they respond to? Johnny Q Taxpayer would like a word.
I get what you're saying, I think... but surely there's no mechanism they can unilaterally refuse to respond to calls in their jurisdiction.

I think you’re gonna be hard pressed to find a statute, my friend. I’ll be glad to be proven wrong. It’s definitely despicable, and none of them should have a badge and a gun, and should have their butts kicked.

How is this any different than the FEMA black chick telling her crew to skip MAGA homes?

Sounds like a civil rights violation. Then police are not consistent with their “policing” - different standards.

I wouldn’t piss on any federal agent if they were on fire.

I thought cops stuck together behind the blue line? Why would local cops let federal cops get tossed up like that and not say frick it and help them? Are they that pussified?

I wonder what that chief would have done if some district commander (or even individual officers) said, "Screw it" and went to assist.

I don’t trust any federal agency. Especially the ones with guns and power of arrest.

Democrats fricking love.... absolutely love exploiting the loophole of "well technically, police don't have to protect anyone."
They've effectively turned city police into political props. These props provide no assistance to perceived political enemies, and provide assistance to perceived political allies.

Malfeasance and dereliction of duties on state levels but refusing federal assistance will bring feds inquiries quickly
