The deal is between Polish Oil and Gas Company Group (PGNiG) and Centrica LNG Co., for shipments between 2018 and 2022, the parties said. The gas will go through Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana. PGNiG did not disclose the gas volumes or prices. ADVERTISEMENT “This five-year agreement for American LNG deliveries is based on gas market conditions. We look forward to working with Centrica as a partner to continue to provide diversified supply into Poland,” Piotr Wozniak, PGNiG’s CEO, said in a statement.

Ya know, for someone who is "Putin's Puppet", that didn't seem like a very Russia friendly move to make. Not to me, at least.

Won't this just raise prices for us here at home? If there is a glut of natural gas, I would prefer to enjoy the lower prices here rather than export it to other places.

After getting its arse kicked around for the last 250 years or so, maybe Poland will finally have her day in the sun. Russia is well, Russia, while western Europe will be fighting jihad in the streets.

Not substantively...we are awash in Nat Gas and the LNG market is getting oversupplied, too, with LNG projects coming on line all over the globe - Africa, Australia, New Guinea, Mid East, etc.

It’s a 5 yr deal man.
We have plenty of natural gas in reserves. This deal in an of itself is not going to drastically increase production and raise oil/natural gas prices.
