I agree with you, but hard to prove to sue. Especially in right to work states. Say something and eventually you get PIP'd out to cover their arse legally. So how does that "teach them". That's what are needing to figure out conservatively. Sux to say but laws like whistleblower ones to protect people that say something as simple as..."can we keep bias politics out of the workplace?"
I know someone who works for a small/midsize tech company that got PIP'd out a couple months after he spoke up about not attending a gay pride deal the company set up.
