All you have to do is look who’s supporting him.
There are a lot of voters who will support the most conservative candidate not named Trump. If that ruffles your feathers, so be it.

DeSantis is backed by Ken Griffin. He's the establishment's guy.

Plot Twist-
Having the establishment behind you can achieve victory and perhaps get the train back on the rails. Or stay with the "I told you so" loser on the sidelines pointing at the wreckage to pwn someone on social media.

No he is just the conservative candidate not named Trump.
Ken Griffin might vote for DeSantis but that does not make DeSantis establishment.
An establishment politician does not fight the culture war in Florida like DeSantis has done.
FWIW, Trump had establishment billionaires like Goldman Sachs Gary Cohn and WEF Blackstone Stephen Schwarzman supporting him. Did that make Trump establishment?

Well, Trump is the Fauci/Graham/Lincoln Project/etc. aligned candidate with more money, a campaign run by Jeb/Paul Ryan/etc. alums and is favored by institutions and media. CNN just gave him a Town Hall. Trump has been working overtime to pull big donors who expressed early support for DeSantis.
He is the establishment. He is against DeSantis.
Thus, DeSantis is not part of the establishment.

So Trump is in bed with... the Lincoln Project, now? I guess just saying anything is how we're playing this now?

This is like lefties making the stupid claim that Trump was personally profiting from being POTUS because he would not put his assets in a blind trust.

The Huff Post came out with article stating that DeSantis is far more dangerous than Trump. So there’s that. The author actually stated she would rather four more years of Trump than what could end up being eight with Ron.

The founding members who constituted the first board of directors for the new caucus were Republican representatives Scott Garrett of New Jersey, Jim Jordan of Ohio, John Fleming of Louisiana, Matt Salmon of Arizona, Justin Amash of Michigan, Raúl Labrador of Idaho, Mulvaney of South Carolina, Ron DeSantis of Florida ... that's how where was trump oh yeah banging stormy
