Does any of this answer what, what, why or how? Nope, only when! So please put yourself in an adversaries shoes. You get that snippet how will they figure out which F-18s and Reapers the US owns will be used let alone the targets. If they gave grid coordinate, specific targets the exact strike package I might be able to discern exactly what was happening but do I have the time to relay that information and make it actionable?
The answer is no. It was an error to have a “sensitive” policy collaboration on an approved encrypted app that some how had a journalist included.
