That was a rerun and it was like the fifth time it came on during their shift?
It was the sport coming on they didn't like and not the Anthem?
They had a specific problem with the person singing the Anthem?
There was something else they wanted to watch?

Why do we play the anthem before a sporting event? It has never been an issue but it has always seemed silly.....especially MLB games where there are about 6000 a year for every team...it costs about $80 Million a year at the average length of 1.8 minutes per song, 162 games for 30 teams of about 25 players each (more than that in the fall)....and it means almost nothing to the vast majority of the people involved because they are there to drink beer, eat hot dogs and watch or play baseball...not celebrate their collective patriotism.

I will never understand how a majority of republicans can believe the deep state exists and has been entrenched for decades but still blindly flag worship and hero worship the military that fought the deep states wars and furthered their agendas.

My Dad was as conservative as they come, and he sure as hell didn't get offended by that, and he didn't care if Hendrix was in The 101st, he just thought it was amazing.
