The President didn't say anything. In fact, he warned of assuming things and making comments.

Damn. Now that I see what he actually said, I am more than sure we will be bombing ISIS as soon as we get a "strategy." Somebody in the defense dept is going to be working this weekend.

QUESTION: Do you need Congress's approval to go into Syria?

The strategy being weighed by the President is whether or not he will seek legislative approval before bombing.

Military options have been in place since 2013 when Assad was trying to push the envelope. Our armed forces have plans in place. Which plan will be implemented? That's up to the generals.

Leave the Middle East. That should be the strategy.

(CNN) - It's too soon to say what steps the United States will take against ISIS in Syria, President Barack Obama said Thursday.

"I don't want to put the cart before the horse," Obama told reporters during a White House news briefing. "We don't have a strategy yet."

if people, left and right, were truly honest with themselves we'd all admit to hearing a small voice starting to well up within us asking "is it possible Obama is pro-Caliphate given all the arranged coincidences and occurrences in the ME since he has taken office? Is it possible?"

But people generally aren't honest with themselves, so everything is going to be ok.

Why don't you list the evidence supporting your suggestion since we are ( the ones who are) deluded?

Let me help him out...

Strategy - President Obama and "Citizens United"

Tactics - Lois Lerner and Exempt Organizations Unit

For the love of Pete.

You people are insane. I'm not using that as a phrase. You people literally have a mental disorder.

He said he didn't want to put the cart before the horse.

Listen carefully, retards:

Congressional approval is the cart.

A strategic plan is the horse.

He was CLEARLY saying that there no point in taking something to congress right now because there is nothing to take to congress, i.e., no strategy.

Once there is a strategy, you take it to congress. If you go to congress before there is a strategy, you are putting the cart before the horse.

It's really easy to understand if you want to, but of course, you don't want to.

“As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

“Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

“Islam has always been part of America”

“we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”

“These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

“America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

“I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam.”

“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”

“I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”

“We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”

“That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

“I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

Obama's promise to reshape the Middle East enacted

He was caught red-handed gunning running in the Middle East...

The Assad regime is a longtime sponsor of terror and isn't much better than ISIS.

Assad is rational enough to recognize the threat of being punished for blatant misbehaviour. He's a thug, but we were always able to handle him, just like Qadaffi after 2003.

ISIS on the other hand is filled with homicidal maniacs whose sole mission in life is to die for Allah. With whom would you rather deal?

The problem is our current Administration doesn't have a plan, and doesn't want to have a plan.

I have no problem with him not actually having a solid plan because it's a very complicated issue.

However, having said that there's no way in hell the leader of the free world goes before cameras and actually admits this. "we're working on an appropriate strategy," something like this would appear much more presidential.

He's the one that's JV.
