Why Not

Half of congress has an equity stake in defense one way or another.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Government grows, that's just what it does as it determines in needs ever more power to force things to go the way it wants it to.

Allowing the government to buy into private companies is nothing but opening the door for socialism.

I’m left wondering what the real reason is because this isn’t American….period. Ditto the flag burning deal.

First Intel, now Lockheed Martin. The government is now turning ‘kingmaker’, picking winners/losers

Just does not feel right.
The government of China owns a large stake, sometimes 51%, of all companies based in China. It's how they get a return on the costs of business incubation.

Great, a financial motive to start more wars is just what we need to do.

Government Motors has gone from a Republican slur to a Republican platform.

It goes hand-in-hand with the change of the name to the Department of War, one could say.

Gross. Don't give the military incentive for war which they would with a vested stake.

This is not good. Blind support of all things Trump needs to stop. The otherside will get their turns and bring havoc with all this precedence Trump is setting

Suddenly the plants within the Democratic Party to make them look ridiculous like trans bathrooms and BLM become more evident every day when you see that this was the other choice

I did not vote for this.

Reagan made some bone headed moves (amnesty for illegals, helping accelerate the demise of mental institutions). I was anxious to see what Trump's would be.

I think military production has to be looked at with a different perspective than something like intel.
