Polls close in a few minutes.

Democrat attempts to win a seat in a district that went for Trump 20+ points. Hasn't had Dem. Rep. in years. I think Conor keeps it close.

Why does it matter what trump won it by?

He isn’t on the ballot and he was uniquely a good fit for this district

The republican is a anti union sleaze who ran a terrible campaign

Th Democrat is a socially conservative marine who has run a great campaign

Why must you make this about trump?

Been hearing that some republicans have not been allowed to vote. Some places are illegally going by the new district map.. which isn't supposed to be active until the last part of this month.

The Republicans have poured more than 10 millions dollars into a sweat they've held for years and Trump held a rally for him. I'd say this is a VERY important race for them.

I think Saccone wins a close one.

You’re only predicting Saccone will win so when he loses you can come back and say “Wow, I totally expected the Republicans to win. This is a monumental loss and a harbinger of things to come! Trump is done for!”

It will be close not because Lamb is the better candidate, but Saccone is nothing to write home about (see, Toddy. Conservatives admit their weaknesses. You should try it sometime.) Hurricane Trump blows through the place and Saccone picks up 5 points. Just like that.

No it isn’t. None of these special elections are going to mean shite by November 2018 and definitely not by 2020. It drives me crazy how everyone on both sides acts like these matter so much.

With that said I almost hope Lamb wins. I want to see if he will really stand up to Pelosi like he claims he will. It’s time for the Democrats to have their Civil War.

10 million on a confession seat?

Whoa if true. The average is a little over a million.
